Do you want to know what real procrastination is?

I can’t do algebra, so in one hour I have taught myself morse code, and I have spent the last ten minuets writing the lyrics to Pompeii fluently in morse

I want a best friend that is always there for me. It doesn’t matter if I’m sad, mad, annoyed. I just always want them to be there and care about me even if I’m upset with them. I’d do anything to have a true friend like that.

I never really wanted a tattoo. Well, by that I mean I never really came across anything I wanted to immortalize on my body. But that was before I discovered The 1975. I find it difficult to explain what this band, specifically the song “You” means to me. I started listening to this band at a very confusing time in my life, and I vividly remember listening to this song for the first time. It played, and I was mesmorised. I knew right then and there that this was my song. This song is one I would want to play in the background to my life. “It takes a bit more” reminds me that I never should have to settle for anything in life. If I want something, I need to work for it. I don’t always have to please other people. It reminds me that I am important and worth something and that I can be someone. But most importantly, this band and this music makes me happier than anything else in the world, and I will forever be grateful for that.

Anonymous: so a couple months ago i began to like this guy. at a party that we both attended, he put his ipod on the doc station and played some Arctic Monkeys and Vampire Weekend. after a while, he came up to me and was like 'what music do you listen to?' and i replied, 'bastille' and he goes 'I'll be right back' he then races over to his ipod and puts on Flaws, turns to me and sings, and i join in. He then proceeded to play the rest of the bad blood album. We've been together ever since.
